Rann na Feirste is situated in the Rosses, North West of Donegal. In 1736 when the first inhabitants bought the townland it was a rough and barren landscape which is in great contrast to its present condition. Rann na Feirste is a picturesque village that sits by the sea which provides a peaceful atmosphere. It is renowned for its Irish speaking tradition and Irish folklore which adds to its unique culture. It is also famous for its traditional literature and heritage.
